55th Annual Apple Festival, October 20, 2018
10am to 3pm at the Brooktondale Community Center

Come join us for a day of fun, food, and socializing!

We have a day filled with activities including:
• Easy as Pie 5K Run, 9am (For more information, email Jennifer Christianson at
• Quilt Raffle-drawing at 3pm
• Silent Auction-10am to 2:30pm
• 100’s of Apple Pies for sale and eating!
• Lunch and Snack offerings
• Craft vendors
• Farmer’s Market
• Kid’s Corner-face painting, pumpkin painting, teddy bear/doll quilts, games
• Cake Wheel
• Horse drawn wagon rides

This is the BCC’s major community get together and fundraiser for the year. Please come and support the BCC!


We need your help! We are looking for volunteers for the following activities:

• Bake a cake for the Cake Wheel.
• Help make pies at a pie bee (no experience necessary)
• Sell quilt tickets for the quilt raffle
• Help the day of the festival.

PIE BEES-lots of fun
The Brooktondale Community Center has been reserved for the following dates and times for pie bees

• Oct 2 Tuesday 4pm-7pm Join one of these or schedule your own! What is
• Oct 3 Wednesday 4pm-6pm a pie bee? Besides being a lot of fun, it is a pie
• Oct 9 Tuesday 4pm-7pm making assembly line! There are people at every
• Oct 10 Wednesday 4pm-6pm station peeling apples, mixing filling and preparing
• Oct 13 Saturday IC Students pie crusts. All ingredients are supplied!
